Canadian Experience Class

The Canadian experience class referred to in subsection 87.1(1) of the Regulations.

It is a program for skilled workers who have Canadian skilled work experience.

Requirements

Work experience

The applicant must have A- 12 months of full-time or equal in part-time skilled work experience (NOC O, A or B) in Canada within that last 3 years. It does not need to be continuous.

Language proficiency

• Meet minimum language requirements of NOC O or A -CLB 7 (English) or NCLC 7 (French)
• NOC B -CLB 5 or NCLC 5
• Important Considerations: Full-time is 30 hours/week for 12 months or 15 hours/week for 24 months
• Self-employment and work gained as student does not count.
