Federal Skilled Worker

The federal skilled worker class referred to in subsection 75(1) of the Regulations

Requirements

Work Experience

• At least one year (1,560 hour total / 30 hours per week), continuous, paid full-time or an equal amount part-time in NOC O, A or B within last 10 years in primary occupation.

Education

• Completed Canadian (or equivalent) secondary school or higher and obtained an Education Credential Assessment.

Language proficiency

• Complete IELTS, CELIP or TEF and receive minimum CLB 7 in all four abilities.

Selection factors

• Score at least 67/100 on the FSW point’s grid.

Proof of funds

• Show proof of funds, unless currently working in Canada or have valid job offer.
